Gas Security Valves

For this client we developed a range of valves (3/4” to 2”) for both industrial and domestic applications. Once turned off to allow upstream maintenance and repairs to be undertaken, a safety mechanism designed by the Orseal team renders the valves’ on-off levers completely inoperable, making it impossible for anybody to inadvertently turn the gas supply back on whilst repair work is progressing.

Once all repairs have been completed, a special reset key allows engineers to return the valves to fully operational.

The end result: a simple, highly-effective system that ensures maximum safety.

All valve inspections, logistics and special packing cases were handled by Orseal.
