UZ750 is an artificial island located 80km off the Abu Dhabi coastline. A major technical achievement utilising on an unprecedented scale Extended Reach Drilling (ERD) and Maximum Reservoir Contact (MRC), the island is set to increase oil production significantly on its completion.

For phase 2 of this innovative project, which has attracted worldwide interest, Orseal supplied a range of valves in carbon steel and ali-bronze (for seawater use). These were in sizes from ½” to 12” and were both manually operated and pneumatically actuated. The valves were for the vacuum pump package at Satah-al-Razboot.

All valve inspections, logistics and special packing cases were handled by Orseal.
